Cleopatra Antique Pool: One of the world’s most unique swimming experiences — an ancient thermal pool containing actual Roman-era column fragments submerged in warm spring water. Available as an optional extra on site for all guests. Karahayıt Red Water: A highlight often overlooked by visitors — the iron-rich springs create vivid reddish-brown terraces, offering a striking contrast to Pamukkale’s white travertines and excellent photo opportunities. UNESCO heritage site: Pamukkale and Hierapolis have been jointly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. Walking on the travertines: Shoes must be removed before walking on the white terraces (this is mandatory to protect the site).
